You will see how the security systems guarantee all-night monitoring of the desired property, that they come with sensors for both the door and the windows (detecting any kind of movement) and also with a high decibel siren. Add to that the detection of glass breaking, the medical emergency protection and the keychain remote arming – and you will have a complete package.

We all know the risks of our houses being attacked by a burglar; instead of worrying all the time about the potential burglars who might come into your home, it is for the best that you go online and discover the range of home security – security systems offered by Apex Direct. As someone pointed out to me the other day, throwing an empty package from a new computer or a flatscreen tv may be like advertising your new stuff to the bad guys. Sounds far fetched perhaps, but it could happen.

Yep, burglars can get pretty nifty with how they choose their targets. Your contract will say that the Security company isn't liable if they install things wrong or don't respond to alarms.

Read your contract. I appreciate that web-sites like this are sharing proactive safety ideas. However, there is an issue with WASP spray. WASP spray labels state, "It’s a violation of federal law to use in any manner inconsistent with this label. Never Use Indoors!” Police departments worldwide use pepper spray because the inflammatory effects of this agent work on those which cannot feel pain. The inflammatory effects of pepper spray cause eyes to close involuntarily and produce a loss of breath sensation. Pepper spray has been proven effective on deterring and incapacitating aggressive, combative, intoxicated individuals for over 20 years.
To date, no human testing has been conducted on WASP spray and it’s a violation of federal law to use in self defense. There are many home defense pepper spray options which will deploy up to 25 feet and unlike WASP sprays, these pepper sprays will cover an entire doorway. It's probably not a good idea to use WASP spray for home protection since it is against the law and WASP spray labels themselves state "NEVER USE INDOORS". Pepper spray is a safe, proven option which is trusted and relied upon by professionals.

My family owns and operates Security Equipment Corporation which manufacturers SABRE pepper sprays (www.sabrered.com).
