i purchased a lawson storm door probable 10 years ago. several years ago the bottom of the door started cracking and then as it continued it started peeling and underneath was a powdery substance. it is much worse now and i had to take cutters and cut away where it is now peeling off. i didn’t think about trying to contact anyone until someone told me they were having the same problem. i talked to lowes, where i bought the door, they told me to get on the internet to see if there has been recalls. i have seen a lot of complaints about the same problem i have. i am going to have to by a new door and i am a senior citizen on a fixed income. what can be done to help me with this problem. thank you gay hughes

I was looking on the internet for info related to warranties for a Pella retractible storm door. I came across your post and I’m guessing it saved me a lot of hassle and time researching.
