I didn&#039;t realize that creditkarma.com allows you to get a score for free. Whilst this isn&#039;t the same score that you&#039;ll get from other sites, i don&#039;t believe any 2 lenders or sites will give you the same score, as it depends on the algorithms they use which will all be different. Having said this, I think it is relevant to get a score, any score, and to monitor it over time to see if it moves up or down, and that offers real value. I think when it comes time to borrow for a house then I&#039;ll get my act together.  For now I continue to do financially responsible things with my credit and I hope it remains in good shape.
