		<description>I totally agree, in any ten year period including the great depression , stocks have been a better investment. However, it does not necessarily go up over the short term. You suggested baby boomers get back into the market, but some of the baby boomers are retiring in the next couple years. They cannot risk losing money in the short term because they can&#039;t afford to hold the money in the market long enough for it to go back up. They are going to need that cash in the next few years when they retire.
